X-Ray FluorescenceThe first Industrial Revolution took place in the Middle Eastern regions of the Israel, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, southern Syria and the Sinai Peninsula is dated back to the Iron Age (ca. 1200-500 BCE) where vast deposits of copper ore was unearthed for industrial development. Recent excavations in the year 2014 shed light on the hectic metallurgical activity in this area where the scientists provided glimpses of copper smelting activities in this site during the historical period with the help of post-season X-Ray Fluorescence.
