New therapeutic treatment for lupus nephritis through the polarization of macrophages

dermatitis journal articlesSystematic Lupus nephritis (SLE) is autoimmune disorder and Lupus nephritis (LN) is severe and chronic stage of the disorder that affects different organ systems of women in the reproductive age, leading to morbidity and mortality of the patient.

Inflammation in the kidney tissues causes LN, in which Macrophages plays a key role. Many studies have proved that Macrophages can undergo phenol typical/functional switch and play different functions depending on multiple signal pathways and polarization of macrophages a new therapeutic treatment for lupus nephritis.
