The entire world is moving towards sustainable practices that would optimize cutting parameters using cost effective, environmental friendly and less energy intense practices. Surface roughness of the work piece and the temperature of the cutting tool are the two important determinant factors that play a role in attaining optimum parameters. Genetic Algorithm technique can be used to find the optimum speed of the spindle, feed rate and depth of cut.
